    Ringgi was the second largest base for the Japanese forces in Solomon Islands with up to 15,000 troops based on the island. This tour will give you an idea of what went on.  See the Japanese airstrip, take a walk to view some of the artillery still hidden in the bush and explore the old plane bunkers.  Pick up and drop off is from Imburano or the Ringgi guest house.

    Cost 400/person minimum three people runs for a half day.

    A more extensive tour including the Japanese tunnels can be arranged, but this requires boat transport and arrangements with local landowners.  Availability and price will be confirmed on the application.
